Things are looking up.

It's been a week, and things are looking up. No I don't mean the gas prices, or unemployment, but life itself. I started the week by getting a envelope from my cousin Diane with copies of the Kelly family history. Copies of the family Bible pages with names and dates family members were born, married and died. She also suprised me with 50 photos of the family that I had never seen. It included two photos of my dad as a child. I sometimes thought my Dad was born an adult. There were photos of Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents, Great-Grand parents, Cousins, and others in the family. There were even a photo of me and my Sister when we were young. I spent the week talking to my Aunt Elizabeth who is now almost 89 years old. I asked as many questions as I could without making her tired. I found out my Dad's Grandparents names, and who some of the people were that were in the family Bible. I had also taked to my Cousin Kathleen who lives in Ohio. She is taking care of her Mother, my Aunt Hilda. I talked to Linda about the money we got back from the Feds, and that with the prices being so high in Ireland that maybe we should put off Ireland for another year, and go see my Dad's side of the family. Linda has met some of my Mom's family, but none of my Dad's side. I myself have not seen them in over 30 years. Linda was all for seeing them so I booked the trip for September. I hope this helps the economy. Kathleen told me we could stay at her home for the two days we would be there. I told her I also wanted to see a friend James Rau I had from Vietnam who live about five miles from her home. She asked his name, and it turns out she and her husband know him. Kathleen's husband had car pooled with my friend. What a small world. We will also see another friend from Vietnam Alan Unrue, and My Aunt Elizabeth and Cousin Laura and her family.

Saturday Linda's Sister Diana was over for pizza, beer, and movies. We had a great time, and Diana picked a couple of good movies. It's hard sometimes to find ones that I like, but she did a great job.

We spent last night with Mark, Suzane, Mellany, and Emily at Disneyland, and we will be with Sharla and her family next week in Yosemite.

I'm sorry this is long, but when good this happen I love to share. As always we hope everyone is well, and we hope to see everyone soon.

Attached are a couple of the photos my Cousin sent.

That is so cool to be able to pick up and go see people like that. I always want to just go to MN to go searching and finding mine there.

I looked on the website for the place we are staying in Yosemite, and it is SO cute! I can't wait.
