A Great Father's Day

I hope all of the fathers had a great day yesterday. Linda and I went over to her parents house in Long Beach. Since both of my parents passed away Linda's parents have been like my parents. It is interesting how they had things in common. My dad and Linda's dad both were in the Army in World War II, and both worked on the same Army radios. My mom and Linda's mom both loved bowling. I got calls from all five of the kids on Fathers Day. It is great to be remembered. We will be having two of our grandkids over for a week while their parents get a much needed vacation. The grandkids do keep us young. We now have eight and another is on the way. The family is growing and growing. Next holiday is the 4th of July. Linda's brother Jim will be playing with the band he is with, and we might get to see them. I'm starting to like county music.

P.S. You might notice the site is looking better thanks to my daughter Sharla who showed me how to use it the right way. Aren't kids great, and they are so much smarter then we were. I guess they should be, when I was young computers were something on a Science Fiction show. It's hard to teach old dogs new tricks.
