This last week has been very busy. Mark and Suzane were in Kauai, and we had Mellany and Emily our Granddaughters at our house. Emily who is now ten spent three night here then went to a friends house. Her friend is on thr cheer team with Emily, and with a swimming pool in the back yard Emily was in heaven. Mellany stayed with us, and we took a trip to Sea World. It has been a long time since we were there and it has changed. Mellany talked me onto a roller coaster ride which left me breathless and very wet. I only found out the coaster went through two ponds after I was on the ride. We took the ride near the end of the day, and it had been in the 80's, but now was in the 70's. We had a wet ride home.
We also went to Lakewood and saw the band Linda's brother plays in. It is a western band called the Doo Wah Riders. They played out doors in a park. We had Mellany, Linda's parents, and her sister Carla with us. It was a great time. There were 1500 people at the park, but everyone seemed to have a great time. In the photo above Jim is on the left. Linda comes from a musical family. Her brothers played in bands, and her sister Kathy Plays piano, harp, sings, and teaches music. Linda's Dad Ruben played guitar in bands in the 40's through the 60's. Every once in a while Ruben or Jim and some times both will get their guitar out and you hear some of the most amazing music ever. If you hear that the Doo Wah Riders are playing near you go see them I know you will have a blast.
Next week Tina graduates with a Masters, 4th of July, and then on to more birthdays.

Jim is so cool. Can't wait to see him play. WWich it was still in the 80 degree range.
