Riverside National Cemetary on Memorial Day

Linda and I went out to the Riverside National Cemetary for Memorial Day services. I got a chance to see some old friends that I don't get to see enough. The ceremony was great with music and some very good spearkers. I talked with a old friend Bill Densmore Head of County Verterans Affairs. He introduced me to Col. Millett a Medal of Honor winner from the Korean War. I have met a few Medal of Hornor winners, and everyone are the most humble of people. Here I am talking to one of the most courageous people ever, and he wants to know all about me and what I did in Viet Nam. We are so lucky that the Medal of Honor Memorial is at the cemetary here in Riverside. Before we left We stopped by my Parents graves. I wish they had lived long enough to meet all of the great people that are in my life, My wife, kids, grandkids, Linda's family, and all of my friends. I hope they know what a great life I now have. I'm sure they do know. I hope everyone had as great a day as I did.
