Memorial Day is coming up next week. Linda and I go out to the Riverside National Cemetery each year for the program. It makes a person very proud to be an American. It seems we have had many in the family serve in the military from World War I through my serving in Viet Nam. It gives me a moment to remember those no longer with us and those that are. One of the best times was when I recently met two of my pals that I served with in Viet Nam. I had a hole in my heart because I left before they were able to return home. I also did not know for over thirty years that they did make it home. If you can, try and attend some ceremony for Memorial Day I think you will get a lot out of it. Colleen has me doing a presentation at her day care center on the 25th which should be interesting. The kids are 4 and 5 years old. I hope I entertain them. I am adding a photo of me and my two buddies fro Viet Nam Alan Unrue and James Rau. My Pals for life.

Yeah I agree about the picture ... I am pregnant with Bryan there so it had to be 2003! :)
