The reunion

Well I am finally taking some time from looking at all of the family photos to write something here. The Reunion was fantastic. Thanks to Kathy and Chris for letting get together at their home. I can't believe it has been fifty-one years since we were all together. A lot of memories come back from our time together way back then. My sister and I had so little time with my Dad's family, because of all of the moving around that comes with being in the military. What little time we had left great memories. Even being the only boy I still managed to fit in, or at least the girls put up with me. I have great memories of my Aunts and Uncles. It was so great to still have some of them here. I would try and list everyone that was there, but I don't think there is room. As I have grown older (Much Older) and both of my parents pass some time ago I have been blessed to again have made contact with family on both my mother and father's sides of the family. This along with my family and Linda's family I fill a real connection to my past and future. I have tried to keep my own family close, but they are now at the age where their family's are growing and takes most of their time. I have done a family tree so some day when they start asking where did I come from and what was the family like I will have the answers. They will know how great they are because of the great families they have come from. I know I waited to long to ask family members that are no longer here the questions that may never be answered. Thanks to everyone in the family for all of your help, and for excepting me and Linda back in the family. The photo attached was taken at Kathy's home in Ohio where we had the reunion.
