Well another birthday slipped by and it gives me pause to look back over my life, and all that I have done. Okay enough of that. I can say that my life now is better than I had ever hoped. I'm sure that everyone has had there ups and downs in there lives (if not, I don't want to hear about it), but I have been very lucky. I'm now sixty-one, an age I never thought I would be, and almost every day now I wake up looking forward to what the day will bring, after I've taken a couple of pain pills. I have a kids and grandkids that makes me very proud, which I always forget to tell them. (If you are one of the kids please print this out and save it.) I have friends that have stuck with me, why I don't know, but I thank each and everyone of you. I have brothers from Vietnam that are closer to me than the brothers I never had. For some reason that sentence doesn't make any sence at all, but you guys are very special to me. I have Family, though I have not seen some of them for many years, that treat me like we have always been close, and gives me a connection to my parents and grandparents who are no longer with me. You all mean more to me than you could guess.
Now that I have bored everyone. I guess I should catch everyone up. Linda and I are getting ready to start the vacations we have planned for the last year. We are going from Ohio to Missouri to New Mexico and then Alaska. Then we will stay at home the next two years trying to pay all the bills that will be coming in. In all of this travelin I hope to see each and everyone of you. This is fair warning that I might show up on your door step when you least expect it. Hope to hear from each of you soon.
The photo to the right are the excellent eight who will be traveling together to Alaska. John, Kerry, Ian, Ann, Marlene, Barbara, Me and Linda.
