Moving along

Well its been three months since I last wrote in the blog. I heard from four people that wanted me to continue the blog so here we go. A little sad news first. My friend Ian's father passed this month, as well as my ex-mother-in-law. They were both wonderful people, and will be missed. I have most of the medical problems I have had under control, and my health is improving. Eye surgery in April should have me back to my old self.

We are looking forward to this summer. It will be very busy, but should be a lot of fun. In June we go camping with my son Mark and his family. Then its off to Ohio for a family reunion with my cousins most I have not seen in fifty years. We will also see two of by buddies from Vietnam Alan and James. We stop in Missouri on the way back to see my daughter Kim and her family. In July we visit friends Alex and Roci in New Mexico. This will be Linda's first time in New Mexico. Then we take a cruise to Alaska with more friends John, Anne, Kerry, Barbara, Ian, and Marlene. Its a good thing we planned and saved for this for the last three years. These will be the last of our trips for awhile so we are making the most of it.

I am still busy with Veterans stuff, which gives Linda some time to do some painting which she loves, and we get to see are grandkids here and there.

We have been very lucky to have so many great friends and relatives. Our lives have been very blessed knowing you all.
