Well I have been on the computer it seems like days trying to locate as many family names as I can. I'm up to 1925 names, but can't find the ones I want the most. I know my great grandparents came from Ireland in 1882 but I don't know where in Ireland they came from. I'm seeing my sister next weekend and taking her a copy of what I have. We are trying to save to go to Ireland next year. This would be a great 60th bithday present if we can do it. Some times I don't think people think enough of the family and were they came from. I guess we live to much in the present. I think if it was not for those who can before us we would not be where we are today. In my life my wife and family are the most important thing. I need to tell them more often.

I whole heartedly agree. I think is what drives to scrapbook a lot. I want my posterity to knwo what my life was like. I am so interested in my ancestor's lives. if only they had kept journals that could fall into me hands...that would be great. The family tree is definitly addictive. I have been dabbling a bit for the last couple days too.
